The National Consumer Commission (NCC) will host a G20 webinar titled “Developments in Consumer Protection – Product Safety and Digital Markets.” The webinar seeks to advance awareness and understanding of consumer protection matters with a particular focus on product safety and developments within digital markets. The session will feature presentations from distinguished institutions including the European Commission (EU), the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), Consumers International (CI), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO), among others.
