Position : SCM PROVISIONING ADMIN OFFICER
Basic Salary : R325 101 PER ANNUM (excluding additional benefits)
Centre : Pretoria, Groenkloof
Purpose of the job
To effectively execute the supply chain management function, including the implementation of policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
| 1. Implement SCM regulations in accordance with rules and regulations 1.1 Implement the policy on procurement 1.2 Develop norms for the procurement of perishable items 1.3 Facilitate timeous payment of service providers |
| 2. Provide monitoring and evaluation mechanisms/tools for the overall performance of the SCM system 2.1 Evaluate demand management 2.2 Monitor acquisitions 2.3 Evaluate and guide actual acquisition compliance with SCM legislation, procedures and Treasury Practice Notes and circulars |
| 3 Coordinate the process of awarding tenders 3.1 Identify and develop NCC acquisition requirements 3.2 Provide secretarial services to the bid Committees |
| 4. Assets management 4.1 Performing asset verifications 4.2 Barcoding of new assets, updating of assets register, and other related assets functions |
| 5. Develop SCM risk profile 5.1 Identify all the risk factors in SCM 5.2 Develop tools to mitigate the risk |
| 6. Procurement of goods and services 6.1 Prepare bid documents for the advertisement of goods and services price quotations 6.2 Evaluate received price quotations to ensure compliance with NCC SCM policy and SCM legislative prescripts. 06.3 Provide capacity building on the procurement of store items 6.4 Ensure timeous payment for goods and services procured in line with National Treasury prescripts |
| 7. Management of Travel Services 7.1. Facilitation of travel arrangements 7.2. Booking of travel with a travel agency 7.3. Evaluations of travel quotations to ensure adherence to NCC travel management policy. 7.4. Communications of amendments to either the travellers or the travelling agency. 7.5 Have an effective filing system for all records. 7.6. Any other travel-related services |
Minimum Qualifications: National Diploma / B. Degree in Financial Accounting, Public Administration/SCM/Logistics Management
Minimum Experience: 1 -2 years of SCM or Logistics Management experience in the Private or Public Sector
Minimum Training: Computer Literacy ( MS Office Package)
