The National Consumer Commission (NCC) is pleased to announce the appointment the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Dr Tom Tshitangano and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ms Tebogo Mmonwa. These two highly accomplished professionals joined the NCC on 1 April 2025 and 1 May 2025, respectively.

Dr. Tshitangano is a seasoned specialist in the field of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) with over 17 years of experience in leading and managing digital transformation strategies, programmes, and projects. His areas of expertise include ICT governance, enterprise architecture, system analysis, project management, IT service management, to mention but a few. He is passionate about digital innovation, digital governance, and advancing the digital economy and society through impactful research and implementation.

Ms. Mmonwa is a Chartered Accountant with a strong background in finance, auditing, risk management, and monitoring and evaluation. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Science from UNISA and recently completed a Certificate in Executive Development from Wits Business School. She has served in various leadership roles across the public sector, bringing valuable insight and expertise to our financial and governance initiatives.

The NCC family welcomes the duo, and we believe that they will contribute immensely to the performance of the NCC.
