The NCC working with the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National Prosecuting Authority obtained a preservation order to preserve any money available in two bank accounts belonging to both Priority Escapes and Mr. Swart. Following complaints from several consumers to the effect that Priority Escapes (a travel agency) and its Director, Mr. Francois Swart received payments for holiday bookings but failed to deliver the holidays and failed to refund them, the National Consumer Commission (NCC) investigated these allegations.
