The National Consumer Commission (NCC) welcomes the latest decisions by the National Consumer Tribunal (Tribunal) against three car dealerships that contravened the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). In the latest judgments, the Tribunal declared the conduct of Wynberg used Cars (PTY) Ltd, Bryanston Executive Cars CC, and Farhad Omar Ismail, trading as Squad Cars, as prohibited, and undermining the purpose of the CPA.
