The National Consumer Commission (NCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Lefu Nhlapo as the Company Secretary, effective 1 June 2026.

Mr Nhlapo joined the NCC in 2021 as a Senior Manager of Finance and Supply Chain Management. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Accounting. He has been serving as Acting Company Secretary and has demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism and dedication in the execution of his responsibilities.

In his role as Company Secretary, Mr Nhlapo supports the Commission’s governance structures, ensures compliance, promotes accountability and transparency across the organisation. With more than 16 years of experience in financial management and the public sector, Mr Nhlapo brings valuable knowledge and expertise to the role. The NCC congratulates Mr Nhlapo on his appointment and wishes him continued success in his new role.
