The National Consumer Commission hereby notifies interested people and stakeholders that the period for submission of written comments on the draft Guidelines for Compliance with the Opt-Out Registry’s Regulations, published in the Government Gazette on 2 October 2026, is hereby extended by fifteen (15) business days. The last date for submission of comments will now be Friday, 6 November 2026.

Written comment may be hand-delivered to 01 Dr Lategan Road, Block C, Groenkloof, Pretoria or email J.Mbeje@thencc.org.za or N.Ngobeni@thencc.org.za. Hand-delivered comments should be directed to the Divisional Head for Enforcement and Legal Services and marked for the attention of Mr Jabulani Mbeje.
