The National Consumer Commission (NCC) notifies consumers of the recall of certain 2022 to 2026 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles as notified by Jaguar Land Rover. The recall affects five vehicles manufactured between December 2021 and December 2025.
The supplier informed the NCC that the adhesion process used to reattach the panoramic roof side finishers during vehicle quality rework operations may not have been sufficient. An inadequately adhered panoramic roof side finisher could, over time, come partially or completely loose. This could result in distraction to the driver or other road users or, in the event of complete detachment, harm to other road users, particularly pedestrians or two-wheeled vehicles, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
Consumers who own the affected Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles are urged to visit their nearest Jaguar Land Rover dealership to arrange for an inspection and repair. The panoramic roof side finisher will be removed and securely attached. There will be no charge to owners for this permanent repair.
