The National Consumer Commission (NCC) informs consumers of a safety recall of Renault Kwid vehicles, following a notification from Motus Vehicles Distributor. The recall applies to 1393 vehicles distributed and sold nationwide from 20 January 2026 onwards.
The affected vehicles are five-seater passenger vehicles. According to the supplier, the specified models may experience illumination of a dashboard warning light due to velocity calculation sensitivity. If left unattended, this condition may affect the vehicle’s system performance and could pose a potential safety concern.
According to the supplier, there are no vehicles in consumers’ hands. Motus Vehicles Distributor will update the software before releasing the affected vehicles.
