This effort aims to maintain consumer confidence in the food and foodstuffs they purchase. The first inspections will take place in the Capricorn District Municipality, Limpopo.
The National Consumer Commission welcomes the appointment of a new Acting Commissioner
The Minister of Trade, Industry, and Competition, Honourable Ebrahim Patel, designated Mr Hardin Ratshisusu as Acting Deputy Commissioner and Acting Commissioner of the National Consumer Commission effective from 1 May 2024. He also serves as a Deputy Commissioner at the Competition Commission since 2016.
